Rosslyn Chapel, Lothian

Built in 1446 by William St. Clair, Prince of Orkney, Rosslyn Chapel is a remarkable and unusual piece of medieval architecture. Richly ornamented with carvings, many biblical stories are portrayed alongside references to the Knights Templar and Freemasonry. Its depiction as a crucial setting for Dan Brown's 'The Da Vinci Code' has made it one of Scotland's top visitor attractions.

A full guided tour of the chapel has been arranged with plenty of additional time allowed for visitors to explore at their own pace. A lunch will be provided at Roslin Glen Hotel prior to return to Edinburgh.
